The Journey Begins

Why I love what I do

I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do. Being invited into such an important moment in a couple’s journey is a privilege I never take for granted.

I’ve always love creating moments that bring people together. Alongside my work as a celebrant, I’ve spent many years in the theatrical world, as a professional performer, dance teacher and director/choreographer. I love creating experiences that leave a lasting impression and helping people find their true confidence.

Whether it’s guiding you through your ceremony, helping you feel at ease in front of your guests, choreographing a first dance that suits your style, your song and personalities. To creating a surprise flash mob that fills the room with laughter and joy, I love being part of those unforgettable moments.

My aim is always to make you feel calm, supported and completely yourselves, bringing warmth, creativity and care to every ceremony I create.

What is a celebrant?

Quite simply, a celebrant is someone who helps you create and deliver a ceremony that feels personal and completely true to you.

Your ceremony doesn’t have to follow a set script or fit into a traditional mould. Today’s couples are choosing celebrations that reflect who they are, what they believe in and the moments that matter most to them.

Working with a celebrant means you have the freedom to create your ceremony your way, with no rules. Whether that’s in a beautiful outdoor setting, a favourite place, or somewhere that holds a significant meaning to you.

Together, we can explore ideas, traditions and rituals that feel right for you. From handfasting to ring warming, tree planting to wine ceremonies or something completely unique, your ceremony can be as individual as your love story.

Because there’s no one-size-fits-all way to celebrate your love.

The Legal Bit…

One of the questions I'm asked most often is, "How does the legal part work?" The good news is, it's really simple.

To make your marriage legally binding in England and Wales, you'll need to complete the legal registration at a register office or licensed venue. Many couples choose to do this on a separate day with just two witnesses. It's a straightforward appointment that usually takes around 15-20 minutes.

Then, when your wedding day arrives, you can enjoy a celebrant-led ceremony that's completely centred around you. This is where you'll exchange your vows and rings, share your love story and celebrate with your family and friends in a way that feels unique and designed around you.

Think of the legal appointment as the paperwork... and your celebrant ceremony as the moment everyone will remember.

Your Ceremony Journey…

Planning a ceremony should feel exciting, not overwhelming. From our first chat to the moment you stand together surrounded by the people you love, I’ll be there to guide you, support you and help bring your ideas to life.

  • Ideas & Inspiration

Together, we’ll explore ideas, readings, music, ceremony enhancements and special touches that will help shape a ceremony that feels uplifting, full of love and completely you.

  • Vow Support

Writing your vows can feel daunting but don’t worry, I’ve got you. Whether you want to write every word yourself, need a little guidance or would love me to help bring your feelings into words, I’ll support you every step of the way.

  • Creating Your Ceremony

Your ceremony should be as individual as you are. Whether you want something emotional, fun, organic, modern, traditional or a wonderful mix of everything, we’ll create a moment that reflects you both as individuals and as partners.

  • Your Keepsake

You’ll receive a beautiful ceremony certificate to treasure as a reminder of your special day.

  • Support Along the Way

Have a question? A new idea? Need a little reassurance? I’m always here to chat and help you feel confident as your plans come together every step of the way.

  • Your ceremony day

On the day itself, I’ll be there nice and early to make sure everything is ready and running smoothly. I’ll liaise with your venue, planner and suppliers, check all the important details are in place and make sure everyone involved knows what’s happening and when.

From confirming who has the rings, checking readings and poems are ready, and ensuring the music is perfectly cued, I’ll take care of the details so you don’t have to.

Most importantly, I’ll make sure I see you before the ceremony begins, I’ll take a little moment to reassure you that I’m there and everything is under control, so you can relax and enjoy what’s about to happen.

From the first conversation to the moment you walk back down the aisle as newlyweds, my role is to support you, guide you and create a calm, joyful atmosphere where you can be fully present and simply be in the moment.

Karlina was warm and professional from the very start. She made sure that she got to know us (and us her) and was very keen to ensure that our ceremony was personal to us and suited who we were as people and as a couple.

  • "We immediately felt comfortable.”

The day itself was perfect and our guests commented on how wonderful and touching the ceremony was. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

She was above all professional, but more importantly she was warm and kind and very much invested in making sure our needs were met from the initial consultation to the building of the ceremony
